Although the global pandemic cancelled the usual Canada Day fireworks and celebrations this July 1, some of the military personnel stationed in Halifax created a lively, social-distanced tribute for the occasion. The video of the presentation was posted on Capt. Arnold Noteh Glogauer’s Facebook page Wednesday. You can watch the newly-arrived Jewish military chaplain standing in a field of flagpoles, and later, see him saluting.
It’s just the latest way that Glogauer is trying to make his mark as the first-ever regular force Jewish chaplain to be posted to Canada’s navy headquarters.
My full interview, and story about him, is on The J.ca news site. Read it here.
