Ellin Bessner brings her new book to Congregation Dorshei Emet in Montreal, May 14

Montreal-born author and journalist Ellin Bessner brings “Double Threat: Canadian Jews, the Military and WWII” to Congregation Dorshei Emet in Montreal, in a joint evening public presentation/panel discussion with Professor Morton Weinfeld, Chair in Ethnic Studies at McGill University, where he is a sociologist and launching the second edition of his book: “Like Everyone Else But Different: The Paradoxical Success of Canadian Jews” published by McGill-Queen’s University Press.
