Ellin on the Liberal’s Apology for the MS St. Louis: CBC News Network Nov. 7. 2018

Guest interview of Ellin by CBC News Network on the day that the federal Liberal government under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau apologized to the passengers on the MS St. Louis, a ship which was turned away by the Mackenzie King Liberal government in 1939 and had to return to Europe and the Holocaust. Of the 900 Jewish refugees on board, several hundred were killed in the war. Ellin says the apology — which was heartfelt and moving — came almost too late, but not too late.
